The main enrolment entry points at Geelong Lutheran College are Prep, Year 6 (at GLC Armstrong Creek) and Year 7, with enrolment in other year levels based on availability.

Parents may apply for a place for their child at any time from their child’s birth, with applications generally closing in March (Prep) and May (Year 6 and Year 7) of the year prior to commencement. We strongly encourage you to attend a College Open or Tour Day ahead of completing an enrolment application.

Secondary 2027

We currently have limited places in some Secondary year levels at GLC Armstrong Creek for 2027 and are holding Private Principal or Head of Secondary Tours for interested families. If you would like to organise a private tour in Term 4, please contact our College Registrar by emailing: acenrolment@glc.vic.edu.au or call 03 5264 1038.

Applications for enrolment in all other year levels are open and considered based on current availability. We currently have wait pools of applicants for many year levels. Families are welcome to submit an application for future consideration should a position become available.

Do we have to be Lutheran?

No.

What is "Lutheran"?

A Lutheran is a Christian person who believes the truths of God’s Word as written in the Holy Bible. In doing this we confess the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To be a confessional Lutheran is to be one who honours the Word of God and believes the confessional writings of the Lutheran Church as summarised in Martin Luther's Small Catechism. Hand-in-hand with our commitment to pure teaching and confession of the faith, is, and always must be, our equally strong commitment to reaching out boldly with the Gospel and speaking God’s truth to the world.

How old does our child have to be to start Kindergarten?

Children must be 4 years of age by 30 April of the year of intended commencement into the four-Year Old Kindergarten class.

How old does our child have to be to start Prep?

Children must be 5 years of age by 30 April of the year of intended commencement into Prep.

How much does it cost to apply?

A non-refundable $20 fee per kindergarten application.
A non-refundable $100 fee per school application.

When will families find out if they are offered a place?

Families are notified in June/July of the year before intended commencement.
